Engine Maintenance

Our 2008 CR-V Honda engine overheated in highway traffic and CAA towed us to Corporate Autoworks. Stephanie capably triaged us from the start... She listened to us with empathy, offered us tea, fed us Nutri bars...Her son Gavin diagnosed our engine fan problem. They drove us to the car rental company where we continued our trip. Stephanie did a Canada wide search for two engine fans, found new after market ones and ordered them. She emailed and texted us with updates, estimates...full transparency from start to finish! Gavin made efficient, proficient work of installing the fans and we have our car for the long weekend. The drive home was happily uneventful...engine data on my dashboard in the sweet spot! There are many reliable mechanics around, but the humanity and service Stephanie and Gavin showed us made for a "soft landing" as Stephanie said. Their professionalism is exemplary, their service Best-in-Class and the Nutri Bars hit the spot! I drove away feeling I met a new friend!

My car was towed into this garage on the recommendation of CAA - I was new to the area and didn't have a clue where to go. The clutch in my Honda was was gone. They were friendly, open about costs to repair and explained what would happen and the cost if once the transmission was out, it couldn't be repaired. Pre-purchase vehicle inspection here got me an extra pair of tires free - an $800 value. I brought a car here for a mechanical inspection, and Calvin found that the front pair of tires were different from those in the back. Being an AWD car, the difference of tread depth could damage the drivetrain. I negotiated with the dealership to replace the back pair, but not the front pair. After gaining this information from the inspection, I re-negotiated with the dealership and got all four tires replaced and included in the car purchase. Corporate Autoworks helped me save an extra $800 in tires and thousands in potential damage to the drivetrain. The inspection cost was worth every penny. Stephanie and Calvin were both a pleasure to work with. They accommodated me when I asked to see the car's underside when it was up on the lift; Calvin walked me through his observations. When the inspection was done, I was provided a phone and email link to the report, which included detailed notes and photos. Gavin Hill, the owner of Corporate Auto Works is truly amazing! He managed to solve a battery drain issue on our car that had been plaguing us for some time. After ruling out vehicle electrical issues, Gavin was determined to solve the perplexing issue. To his surprise, he discovered an aftermarket GPS tracker installed and hidden in the car we had purchased several years ago from a Honda dealership. Once Gavin removed the device, the drain on the battery ceased. The problem was resolved specifically because of Gavin's dedication, knowledge and expertise. Gavin Hill, the owner of Corporate Auto Works is truly amazing! He managed to solve a battery drain issue on our car that had been plaguing us for some time. After ruling out vehicle electrical issues, Gavin was determined to solve the perplexing issue. To his surprise, he discovered an aftermarket GPS tracker installed and hidden in the car we had purchased several years ago from a Honda dealership. The brakes on my car died on me while I was driving home from the Burlington GO stop on December 30, 2019. I had my car, a Chevrolet HHR towed to Corporate Autoworks with the help of a tow truck from CAA. Gavin called me to explain what was wrong with the brakes on my car. When my car developed a flat tire during the busy winter tire season, I was told it would be several weeks before it could be scheduled for repair at the dealership. Other auto shops I contacted had a similar response. However, when I called Corporate Autoworks, Stephanie told me to bring the damaged tire in that very day! Was not keeping things cold inside so I brought it in to get checked out , later the same day I?m back on the road A.C. Working great. Staff are friendly. Usually just go for oil changes, but last time needed air and engine filter changed. I ended up returning to the place an hour later as I was unable to open/ release my trunk open. Apparently they had touched something when changing the filters. They did take care of the issue right away but it still was in inconvenience for me.

I had my truck there for several issues and they were able to diagnose and repair my truck in the time they said it would take.
