At Corporate Autoworks our goal is to deliver “Peace of Mind”. Automobiles have become integral parts of our lives, allowing us greater freedom and ease in our work, chores and play. Through scheduled check-ups and inspections, planning for the wearing down of parts and systems before failure, and performing preventative maintenance using high quality diagnostic tools and mechanical workmanship, we assist our customers to get from “here to there” without the worry and hassle of breakdowns on the way.
We want to prevent a problem by anticipating it and taking corrective action before surprising and disruptive “car troubles” interfere with your daily life. This is not only less expensive than emergency repairs, but it makes our customers' driving safer and more enjoyable. In terms of pricing, we will provide written and approved estimate before work begins (see below), and try to look forward to the next jobs that need doing so that you can plan and budget around your vehicle, rather than having it dictate the rhythm of your life. Below, you'll see our thoughts on new versus used parts, how we rate jobs, what we charge for labour, how pricing is arrived at, and what forms of payment we accept. |

We only use new parts (unless a new part is not available - we will advise you when we must install a used part to do a repair), and get preferred rates from many local suppliers and thus prefer that customers do NOT bring their own parts in for us to install. For most makes and models we can get parts delivered within a few hours of ordering them. Our staff does NOT earn a percentage of sales on labour or parts, and are paid hourly, not based on the documented time rated for the job. We believe that this compensation scheme ensures that there are no conflict of interests and most importantly, you won't be sold a part or job you don't need by us! |

Most work in relation to scheduled maintenance can be performed by a licensed mechanic at an independent shop and doesn't have to be taken to your (usually very expensive) dealership. Jobs such as brake pad replacement, coolant flushes and oil/lube/filters, alignments, tire changes/rotations, and others that involve parts that wear-out over time. Since independent automotive repair facilities tend to offer much better labour rates, consider us for your next tune up or oil change, however new the car is. We can answer any questions you may have about ensuring that your warranty remains valid, and can help you in ensuring that you're doing the routine maintenance that is required of you as the lease-holder or new owner to maintain your manufacturer's warranty! We offer a 90-day parts and labour warranty over and above any that are offered by the parts manufacturer. Speak to one of our techs about this if you have any questions. |

We expect payment to be made when you come or are brought in to pick up your car once the agreed-upon work has been completed according to the estimate and work-order. You will be given copies of these along with your receipt, and we'll let you know when the next scheduled maintenance activity for your car is and try to book you in right there so that we can remind you closer to the time. We may need to collect some personal contact information as well as ask you to allow us to remind you as the date gets close. We'll have a copy of our estimates, work-orders and invoices here in our next update. Some corporate accounts and large jobs may qualify for outside-financing or 30, 60 or 90 day payment terms. Should payment be a potential complication, please discuss this with our Customer Service reps, Stephanie and Brent, BEFORE work is started to avoid complications. We may be able to split the job up into smaller ones to better suit your budget or cash flow, and can help look for ways to finance larger jobs that you can't handle yourself. We currently accept the following forms of payment: Cash, MasterCard, VISA, American Express, Interac Debit

Repairing cars involves working with a number of products that are harmful to the environment unless care is taken to manage their disposal. Regulations are in place that dictate responsible disposal of these products, however the reality is that many small business' either do not know the regulations, are not willing to face the expense of following the regulations, or just don't want to go to the trouble. Corporate Autoworks takes its environmental responsibilities very seriously and has an active programme to manage the safe disposal of harmful waste from its operations. We charge our regular labour rate for diagnostic work, although time spent on diagnosis may be credited to you when we perform the actual work as laid out in our estimate. As an example, imagine that your car made strange noises when you pressed the gas pedal, and we spent an hour locating a hole in your exhaust system. You would be expected to pay for the hour of labour taken to make this diagnosis, but might have an hour of labour that would then be applied to fix or replace the troublesome exhaust piping, above and beyond any parts that were used in the repair. Click HERE to see the maintenance checklist that we're working on. We always use new parts at Corporate Autoworks, and in future, will have pricing and maintenance packages listed here, as well as specials and coupons. |
